Melanie Rudebeck, Executive Director

Education: Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood from Colorado State University

Certificate:Teacher Certification in Texas In EC-4th grade from Texas A&M Commerce

Career: Melanie graduated from Highland Park High School and went on to attend Colorado State University in Fort Collins Colorado. After graduating from Colorado State, she began working as a preschool teacher at the Park Cities YMCA and later taught at Callier Child Development Preschool.

She moved on to become an Education Specialist for Head Start of Greater Dallas where she trained teachers. She served as Assistant Director at Highland Park United Methodist Church for a few years and then went on to become the Director of The ChildCareGroup at The Salvation Army Center in Irving.

Melanie has worked at The Community School of the Park Cities for fourteen years and has been the Director for eight years. Melanie is involved in Delta Kappa Gamma, a teaching society, and White Rock Fellowship Church. She is married to John and has two sons. She enjoys time with her boys.
